Using the Service

You must be at least 13 to use the Service. Redirect links don't need an account: you get an anonymous session and a one-time recovery code to get back in later. Bio pages need a real account, since a public profile needs a lasting identity. Keep your recovery code and account access secure. Lose both, and we may not be able to recover your content.

Your content

You own what you create: links, bio pages, and their content. By using the Service, you grant the operator a limited license to host, store, and display that content, only as needed to run the Service (for example, resolving a short link or rendering a public bio page). Make sure you have the right to link to or publish whatever you submit.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to:

• Link to or host malware, phishing pages, or other content designed to deceive or harm visitors
• Break any applicable law, or infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy
• Circumvent quotas, rate limits, or abuse protections (including the automated safety checks described in the Privacy Policy)
• Impersonate another person or organization without authorization

We automatically check links against known-malicious URL databases, both when you create them and afterward. We may remove content or suspend and terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice.

Plans and billing

The Service offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier. Polar, our payment processor, bills and processes Pro subscriptions on a recurring basis until you cancel. See the Refund Policy for how cancellations and refunds work.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," with no warranties, express or implied. As an independent, one-person project, the operator doesn't guarantee uptime, data durability, or fitness for any particular purpose. You use the Service at your own risk, and to the fullest extent the law allows, the operator isn't liable for damages arising from your use of the Service. If something isn't working for you, cancel your account. That's the remedy here, not a damages claim.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime. The operator may suspend or terminate access for violating these Terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where practical.

Disputes

This is a personal project with no registered legal entity, so these Terms don't assert a specific governing law or court venue. If a dispute comes up, we'll resolve it directly and in good faith. Reach out to support@linksh.re before anything else.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
